Alot of people tell me it's normal I'm doing everything right and one day ill step on the scale and be down 5-10 pounds.. I'm praying for that day. Because after this crazy surgery I get terrified at stand stills :(

I think it's normal. I seem to stall about every 20 lbs or so. I used to panic..but now I just go with the flow. Keep eating right and getting your Protein and you will do fine. =o)

Normal... I was no loss for 10 days then 6 in 3 days. It happens to us all ... Try not to stress... We are right there with ya!

A lot of people not only hit their first plateau at 2 weeks post op, but some (myself included at 6 months post op) go up a pound or two before the free fall starts again. Just hang in there and keep doing the right things!!

As hard as it might be.... Step away from the scale!!! It will drive you nuts. I took mine to my moms and weight once a week. I've heard of husbands taking the scale out the house. Measure your self. Stalls happen. And it's hard not to become scale obsessed.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
