Ms. Mandy 14 Posted April 13, 2013 Has anyone tried insanity after surgery? I was thinking it would be good to use tone up the body and help with sagging skin (I know it won't get rid of it, but help it).
heather200202 73 Posted April 13, 2013 I tried Insanity for a few days after I was released to go back to normal activities and I found it was a little in extreme for me to start off with. I found Jillian Michael's Body Revolution and I love her program. It starts off to me easy ( hard when I first started it) and gets harder every 2 weeks for 3 months. I've done the whole program and have started over again. I love it. Nel 189 Posted April 13, 2013 Good gravy no. Borrow the fit test from insanity or try to find it online before you waste your money. I tried it before surgery and almost died. My husband, a normal sized fit guy, couldn't do it either. P90x is way more achievable and a few of the other beach body workouts.
life_after_gastric_bypass 214 Posted April 13, 2013 Right now I am doing Rocking body from Shaun T getting my body use to exercise. (Plus its fun and not so extreme) I am now waiting for the insanity to be delivered. I have a few friends who have done insanity and say its tough but worth it. And a few friends who have put the cd down not to return to it again lol...
