Drink away. Had WLS May 30th 2012 had a drink like July or August. I was fine & didn't over dud it & didn't drink again till about 6 months now I'm a bum lmbo I drink white wine moscato almost daily less then 1 glass depends. Sometimes I wait till Friday sometime I drink before bed knocks me out.

I think the main reason most ask you to wait so long is to cut down on your chance of transfer addiction. Mine said he wants me to have the full year to overcome whatever 'food addictions' I may have before adding in alcohol.

I'm thankful it messes with my system, so no more for me. I will miss my wine but its not worth me turning red from head to toe and feeling like I'm on fire
