Silly question. How long until I can take communion wafer in church?

When I was in the hospital I asked the same question to a bariatric certified nurse. She said I could take Communion that day( day 3 post op) I would just make sure your mouth is nice and moist.

I asked the same question, I was asked to wait 10 days, I guess it depends on your doctor.
