Be careful. They tell you to wait for a reason. It's not just your eating, your body is going through a LOT of changes and you want to make sure you are providing a safe environment for the baby.

I know it does. But a year and a half is nothing compared to a safe, healthy baby!

Not that it can't be done, as jerz is proof! Just think it through and make the best decision for your future baby :)

Oh wow that really close to surgery. I hope all is okay. I'm 5 months post op and I'm not preventing it. All my eating and drinking has been great so I should be ok then. Well see Im not sure its easy for me to get pregnant its just a wish.

That's what I said. Before surgery I tried for 13 years to have another baby. I took fertility meds and everything. I was only on birth control pills to make my period stop because sometimes it would last for months. I never thought in a million years I would get pregnant on my own.

That's what everyone says! My son thinks I'm crazy (he's 14)

Went to the doc today and got to hear my babe's heartbeat! I'm on cloud 9 right now! They're switching me to a high risk doctor tho cuz my blood pressure is high, Iron is low and my scar tissue still is sore (had open RNY) plus they don't know jack about RNY so they're treating me like I'm made outta glass lol

You really should just hold out :-) I have baby fever... Even was ready to not only ignore my bariatric doctor but got nervous when my gyno doctor who is really down to earth urged me to PLEASE wait. She's been seeing a lot of patients who didn't wait and are having lots of complications. So of course I googled it. And it made me nervous.... On a positive note they say that carrying a baby after that 18-24 months can actually be healthier then when your obese :-)

So I cut do the birth control pills bc not effective after the surgery.... then the ring and made me very sensitive down there....so I removed it.... I've been married for 8 yrs and had a miscarriage 4 1/2 yrs ago and we have been trying the whole marriage. It was becoming unbearable. But I decided since this birth control stuff didn't work if it's meant to be it's meant to be. I mean I've gone this long and didn't get prego....now I've found out I'm 6 weeks so excited bc it's time. I've been smaller most of my life so it's not the weight loss it's just time. Thank Jesus. My baby and I will be fine.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
