I heard your body finds it's goal weight and pretty much stays there, but I don't know. Are you far from your goal? You look really good in your picture?

My surgery weight was 216 and I am 163 and 1 yr. post op yesterday. I seem to have leveled off, I wanted to get to 150 but now I'm thinking maybe not. I eat what I am supposed to eat, I exercise daily for 1 hour + I know I'm doing all the right things but a bit dissapointed, I have my yearly check-up in a couple of weeks and I am going to see if this is it.

You look great, you don't want to get too skinny !!

I leveled out at a year and a half. My weight has stayed between 125-135. Typically I will gain weight right before my cycle.

I feel like I stopped at 9 months. I've been at 184 for almost 2 months. I increased my exercise but it did not help. I'm going to do more liquids and add Protein to get out of this stall next week. I am no where near my goal so this sucks...

Keep going girl... If you feel you haven't reach goal I'm right with you. I'm gonna exercise to tone up & thinking of doing the 30 day diet as if I was having surgery again. I never cheated & was faithful so I'm gonna do it again. 2 Vitamin shakes 1 snack 1 meal it's gonna be hard but I need to tone up. Gonna try out my work out clothes since its been a while & everyone including my Mami says I'm too thin it might be too big but lets see.

I reach goal at 6 months & haven't gain or lost weight in 4 months. I'm stuck at 115 excellent weight for me but I just wanna tone up before going under the knife.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
