I still have my gallbladder

Recommended Posts

Yet, my surgeon didn't prescribe anything for it. Should I be concerned about that? I asked about it and the nurse said, I don't know of anything you can take for that. Hopefully you won't develop issues.

Um.

My Dr prescribed me Actigall, but I couldn't tolerate it so we decided to just deal with any gallbladder issues if they come up.

My Dr. will remove the gallbladder when he does the surgery because of issued after WLS. Luckily, mine's been gone for 10 years.

My surgeon won't remove my gallbladder at the same time as the gastric bypass. I know, I asked him. I'm worried about my gallbladder. I know I have gallstones and I had a bad attack last August. I don't want to go through anything like that again! It was my one and only attack, though.
