carebear42 82 Posted August 15, 2015 well, this is related to the scale, but still a nsv lol i hadn't logged on here in a while and decided to update my ticker. it moved me to tears to have a visual representation of my journey. when you're a noob and you see everyone's success, you think, wow they've come so far and i'm just beginning! but, oh, when *your* ticker finally moves and even gets to the halfway mark, it feels soooooo great! i'm 71lbs from my highest weight, 48 from surgery. woohoo!! How do you get a ticker?
ambernamber 84 Posted August 17, 2015 I've posted in here a few times but it just seems like more and more things keep coming up 1. When I went to pick up my engagement ring after being resized (from a 7 to a 4.5) the jeweler said, "you must have lost a lot of weight because we went down in like 2 and a half sizes!" 2. I bought size 10 jeans from Old Navy. Which was my original goal pant size. 3. My fiance can pick me up and I feel like I'm not going to crush him.
KDM74 186 Posted August 17, 2015 I can wrap a normal sized bath towel around me instead of having to use a beach towel.
mtraverse 327 Posted August 17, 2015 Sent my mom and dad a pic today and my dads response was " I think I would walk right past you and not know you were my daughter!" Made me tear up!!! He is the sweetest! He did continue to say we looked wonderful!
Daisee68 2,493 Posted August 22, 2015 My NSV for the day - 3 mile walk this morning and NO low back or hip pain! Wow! That is huge. I don't love walking that much and won't do 3 miles walks very often (not great at the exercise part yet), but it was so encouraging to know that I was physically capable of doing it without having to stop and sit down and "release" my back pain, before I could continue. This time last year, I went for a walk on the beach on vacation and had to stop and rest because my back was giving out. Can't wait for my next walk on the beach! Mommabird 367 Posted August 24, 2015 I started a C25K today. It's something that I had dreamed about doing but never thought I would (or could). I also went to my niece's bridal shower on Saturday. Instead of being the largest person there, I was one of the smaller ones! And I was by far the smallest of the family members (except for my youngest niece who has always been scary skinny. I don't count her as I have never seen anyone as thin as she is)
leanne1126 84 Posted August 24, 2015 This weekend I went for a ride with my husband on his motorcycle and fit comfortably. I'm down about 90 lbs since I started my diet last fall. Last summer I didn't even try to ride as I was too big!

jkppt 76 Posted August 27, 2015 This weekend I went for a ride with my husband on his motorcycle and fit comfortably. I'm down about 90 lbs since I started my diet last fall. Last summer I didn't even try to ride as I was too big! I went on my hubby's bike for the first time. It was terrifying but I was light enough not to say no
