How about some NSVs!?!?

Last Sunday I did not sit on the coach and veg while watching football. My daughter and I went out and played. Then the whole family went shopping at an outdoor outlet mall. I dont shop because shopping is evil and it seperates me from my money however I was able to walk around and enjoy the time with the family.

Maybe THAT'S why my husband hates shopping so much! Lol

Started a couch to 5k run this week. I'm so happy I made it through all the intervals of running! Besides that loving that I can cross my legs, fitting in two sizes smaller and getting compliments like crazy. Life is good right now!

Give it a week or 2 or 3... you'll be eying those 12's!

I had bought a couple tight-fitting 14's a month ago and Monday I returned one I hadn't worn yet - it was too loose! :-)

Then when cleaning out my closet this past weekend I found about 25 new things w/tags still on them that I had bought from three different stores over the last three years. I used to buy smaller things for 'when I lose some weight', but now that I'm finally losing I blew right past those sizes! I went on a returning spree and ended up w/over $300 in store credits to fund my final size!!!!! So many stores have no hassle, no receipt return policies now - they give store credit w/no receipt which is just fine by me! :-)

I bought a pair of jeans. It's been a while since I have worn them. I got an 18 (last pair was a 22 but I hadn't worn them I was probably in a 24). When I put them on they fit but I had to keep hiking them up. So hopefully I will be in a 16 soon!!

Today my shirt kept falling off me luckily I had on a tank top underneath. When I went to get my eyebrows done today my tech didn't recognize me. She's been on maternity leave since May. She kept talking about my weightloss and how beautiful I look!

This weekend was great! Went for a walk for an hour--twice! Went shopping at the outlets and bought regular sized clothes at New York and Co and Ann Taylor!!!! My 57th birthday was yesterday and I celebrated wearing normal sized clothes. It was super!!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Isn't that the best feeling ever? I have blown the budget a couple times just because it is so much fun to be able to shop from the regular sizes and have so many cute options!

OMG!!!! I do the same thing! I feel them all the way from the middle where they meet to the out side where they disappear into my shoulder muscles!

I can pray on my knees and get up afterwards. :)

I can't wait to do that with no pain..at Church I always just sit in the pew n pray because the pain is so bad on my knees plus its hard to get up.

I really appreciate you putting this on here. :) God bless

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
