ECUJenn 116 Posted August 3, 2013 It is a bit silly but I met my ex husband when I was 19. We got divorced about 5 years ago. But this week a guy asked me for my number and took me on a date for the FIRST time in my entire life. 34 years! Totally have no idea how to handle this but holy moly it's kinda fun! 11 cookier224, kraney, sunshine413 and 8 others reacted to this
kraney 219 Posted August 3, 2013 This week my stepdaughter told me she had a surprise for me. So she runs upstairs and grabs a pair of her size 10 jeans, runs back down and was like try them on! I said I don't think these will fit they are just too tiny. She kept saying try them on, you don't see that you really are that small so I hop in the bathroom thinking there is no way they will even fit around my thigh.....and then they did and they zipped and buttoned with no problems! She even gave them to me HW 229, SW 214, CW 160 RNY 3/14/13 10 babs963, cookier224, mamafine23 and 7 others reacted to this

califmomto4 84 Posted August 4, 2013 I just tried on two different styles of jeans at Old Navy in a size 18! They both fit and one was actually a little bit too big around the waist. Yea! 2 mamafine23 and sunshine413 reacted to this

Cecilia 201 Posted August 4, 2013 Coolest thing happened. I went into a consignment store I've always wanted to shop at but couldn't because they only go up to size xl. in there, I find a cute jacket, and I'm looking for a shell to wear under it. I ask the sales lady for help, and she goes to the Medium rack. I think she's nuts. Then she picks out this pretty sleeveless top and says "try this--it may be too big for you, though... it's a size 16." Now, it turns out I DO wear a size 16, but the idea that she looked at me and thought I was even smaller than that was baffling. I still can't get over it! And lately my littlest daughter has been hugging me and saying "you're so skinny!" And finally, I went on a date the other night, and we were sitting on the couch, and the guy took my legs and swung them across his. I was shocked that my legs are light enough that A) he could lift them, and B) he would want to have them over his. In some part of my mind I'm stil as big as a buffalo... but other people are telling me something very different! What a head trip! 7 sunshine413, babs963, kparadisek and 4 others reacted to this
