How about some NSVs!?!?

I was a 44DDD' date=' and wish they wouldn't leave so quickly! I really miss them and don't know how I'm feeling about going down to a C cup right now. A coworker just gave me a huge box of clothing and she said to get some sports bras for the transition, they're more comfortable. I don't have any regrets, I just wish I had more warning![/quote']

Remember - cup size is a measure in relation to band size. If you go from a 44DDD to a 38 C, you may still "stick out" so to speak as much as you did before, just from a smaller torso. This may help: http://www.herroom.com/bra-fitting-advice,328,30.html

So I went back to the gym for the first time today since surgery. It felt so good... I don't know if I can type this out and explain it well but here goes. Before surgery there was this machine that you sit in and it works your thighs you spread out your thighs as much as you can and squeeze them back together. Well... When the trainer first had me do this machine I cried because I was so fat I could hardly fit I this machine nd to do the exercise I ha to actually sit in the chair and hold my stomach out of he way to get my legs to be able to squeeze together...' date=' well the good news I sat my butt right in that machine today and doing the excessive when it hit me all of a sudden my stomach wasn't in the way I didn't have to hold it in with my hands I almost cried!!!!! Lol it was a good time hahaha

Here's a silly one, my ankles have stopped making the "popping" noise when I walk. That was seriously annoying/embarrassing!

Okay, I'm trying to stay positive even though my dumb thyroid issues brought my weight loss to a crashing halt last month. On the plus side, I've been gardening, and I have to keep reminding myself that I can crouch. There is no huge stomach in the way, and my legs feel good. That is, I don't lose circulation in my feet when I bend my knees, LOL! It's so nice!

I squat so much better!!! Never realized how much the extra padding in my legs interfered :). Cecilia, the bra web site was mind boggling!!! I'm going bra shopping tomorrow, curious to see what fits.

I should tell my mom how much everyone is appreciating the bra site. She's the one who turned me on to it. I started with just one page, and two hours later I had read the entire website. LOL!

I went shopping Today in my storage unit and found clothes I thought I would never wear again. Some of them fit and the others were too big!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
