Hot (temperature) foods hurting you too?

Recommended Posts

I'm almost 3 months out and have been experiencing issues when eating heated solid foods. Had a small homemade egg roll today and almost hurled.

Heated liquids such as hot Water, tea or Decaf coffee don't bother my tummy at all. I appreciate the fact that I feel full fast, but I don't want to feel like I'm about to throw up after 1-3 bites of food. It's made it very difficult to get my Protein in. I can eat an entire rice cake, (in several bites) but not a small boneless skinless chicken tender, so its not that its just that the liquid goes right through and the solids are sitting. I'm so confused.

My doctor gave me prednisone 10 mg , I'm almost 3 months I had surgery 1-21 and I'm the same way except I can't hold down any meat and everything liquid wise must be frozen and then defrost like Water I have to freeze and let melt ...protein girl you not the only one ,same here along with Vitamins etc so I get depressed at times bc I can barely eat anything last few days I have gotten less then 1000 calories and immediately after I eat I usually throw it back up , I go back to doctors and nut next week so hopefully something got to give .... If you have fitness pal add me mrsb305....

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
