Today was my birthday... First one ever without cake. I have always had such a sweet tooth it was strange that I didn't even miss it. I'm so thankful for this surgery' date=' for the weight loss and for improving health. Thankful that this surgery will help me have lots more happy birthdays.[/quote']

I know isn't this crazy. My son had a bday last week and I cut them came And for the first time I was not overwhelmed with the urge to eat it! I use to eat some with the. And then I'd have some At night when everyone was sleeping and then some At Breakfast time. Maybe for lunch even. It just sat there in the fridge untouched:). Happy birthday to you!!

Down 51 pounds...post op 10weeks...yeah medde0a. Can't wait to loose 50 more. Hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th!!

Iffy I got new Protein today and forgot to look at the sugar.. 17g per scoop and I have already opened it..

My job just moved to sa. I work from home but may have to go to the office up there sometime.

Well alot of shaking things up around here. May have to relocate due to the military and maybe being sent to a different base. Is still so up in the air tho so hurry up and wait it seems.

That seems to be the theme with the military I went through it a little with my ex but he was only reserves but did go to Iraq. It was rough so you must be very strong:). If you relocate to San Antonio let me know lol

It's actually on the list of possibilities..san antonio at lackland. I think I would like it there :) the main spot we possibly would be going is Dayton, OH and I'm a bit scared. I've never lived out of the south and never been around snow so wouldn't know how to drive!! He has had to pcs many times but we haven't been married but barely 3yrs so it would be my 1st . He had a specialized job so we weren't supposed to leave here but..the military has its way of changing its mind.

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
