ajustice 484 Posted July 18, 2013 I have followed my doctor's order to a t as well. However I was told that I needed to be getting about 60g-65g of Protein in and just this past week I've been getting in at least 75g and I have actually lost more weight. Im not sure what you've been told by your Nut but maybe uping your protein might help. I'm trying this so I'm so glad to see u posting this. I'm super slow loser..apr 30th was my surg date and I'm down 38lb..feel not so successful! I've forced myself to increase my intake all the way around hoping it boosts my loss. Crossing my fingers. ajustice 484 Posted July 18, 2013 So..the only news I know at this point is my hubby's a going to retrain. I'm looking at about at least 2-4mon before we will know where. Sucks not knowing but this is the military life. He has narrowed down the places tho so I feel slightly better. Hopefully we will know more about his date of surgery next Tuesday. Would at least make it easier to think about. 2 Dorian and hockeymumzie reacted to this

TxDumplin 69 Posted July 18, 2013 Getting my gallbladder removed Friday. I have not had pain the last two weeks. Kinda makes me second guess getting it out now???
saramichelle 127 Posted July 18, 2013 I kinda played hooky today. I didn't really have anything to do at work so I didn't go and I kept my son home. Have been counting my blessings after a day of watching Netflix documentaries..always good to see something alot worse so u know just how much u do have good <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> trying to be positive and waiting for the hubby to come back home hoping for any news. Took my son to get some yogurt and was super nice. Took the chance to go also and get some more Vitamins. At Walgreens they now have diff vitamins and also fish oil in "pearl" form. Alot easier to swallow that the big traditional fish oil. It's hot today so gonna couch surf for awhile til time to cook dinner.< /p> I love Netflix documentary marathons
MaryMitchell 23 Posted July 18, 2013 BethAnn-IMO you should get it taken out on your scheduled day. You certainly don't want to wait until it starts hurting again. You've already been through enough without more pain. Good luck! 1 TxDumplin reacted to this
hockeymumzie 181 Posted July 18, 2013 Getting my gallbladder removed Friday. I have not had pain the last two weeks. Kinda makes me second guess getting it out now??? When I had mine out it was 0% functional. So my attacks were months apart at times. But when they hit I thought I was dying. 1 TxDumplin reacted to this

Needless to say it was out and directly post op I finally could breathe and felt so so much better. It honestly wasn't a bad surgery at all. 1 TxDumplin reacted to this
