Made 5 weeks yesterday and hit the dreaded stall. Even tho I knew in my head this will happen eventually and probably more than once....I got a bit emotional ...it didn't help reading about some folks having all this energy when I'm struggling . I'm feeling better and nausea is getting so much better and I'm keeping food down. Going to pick up the pace a bit with my exercise and cross my fingers it works. Loaded up at the commissary today with different type of Proteins that might change up things and help with my intake.

I am nauseated alot and the vomiting is slowing down. I dont have a scale because i would be a slave to it.

I try to be positive and look forward. I have had no energy for 2 years. The energy is not every day.

Stay hydrated and ramp up your Protein and add a little extra umph with exercising. You got this!

If my husband says "Oh my god, this is delicious! Here, have a bite" and then proceeds to push his fork in my face one more time, I may SCREAM!!!! Rant over!

Today was not a happy pouch day. Struggled with Water and Protein.

I was bad and grazed on strawberries today. Like 8 total. I did put some in my shake and ate the rest. I love fruit.< /p>

Will shake it off and restart tomorrow. :(

Aww man! Was doing great until the last few days. Never threw up or anything. Now I can't keep anything down. It hurts like holy hell! Contemplating going to the ER. I haven't been eating anything. This sucks! Don't have the cash to spend at the ER either. Boooooo...

Has anyone been experiencing achy muscles in their arms and legs? My left side arm and leg have been very achy in my forearm and calf and have also been falling asleep easily like bad circulation. Curious if anyone else has been experiencing this or knows if there is a specific Vitamin I should be increasing?

I'm only achy from working out... but it's bad. I can barely lift my arms today...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
