iamworthit 208 Posted June 1, 2013 I know right? I try my favorite restaurant foods at home first and wait for 30 minutes. If its okay at home' date=' then I will try it next time I go out. I know it sounds bad, but Wendy's chili has saved my Protein numbers a couple of days![/quote'] Wendys chili is a great voice on the run. It is low in fat and sugar and high in protein. Beana21 8 Posted June 1, 2013 Did anybody else's Dr say no beef or pork for a year? Nutritionist agreed too, said those meats are too fibrous for my pouch. Which only makes me want steak even more. Lol

Dorian 683 Posted June 1, 2013 UGH!!! How can I GAIN a pound overnight when I'm following all the rules? Beyond frustrated! I know it happens, and no matter how many times I tell myself that, it still makes me mad!
Dorian 683 Posted June 1, 2013 I'm a slow loser too. I've lost 27 lbs since surgery almost 2 months ago. I try to remind myself that I lost 30 lbs before surgery' date=' so I'm sure that effects my numbers. I could be exercising a lot more as well.[/quote'] I should tell myself that too. I lost almost 40 before surgery, so that could be why its slow moving now!

Janice's Journey 3 Posted June 1, 2013 I would probably pack a little cooler with Protein shakes for the car ride. I would pack a cooler with Water bottles, 2x Protein yogurt, cheese sticks, and cottage cheese. Maybe a few crackers. Crystal lite to jazz up the Water.< /p>

Which only makes me want steak even more. Lol My doctor said no beef for six months. Bummer, because Wendy's chili sounds like a good on-the-run meal. Obeasta 92 Posted June 1, 2013 Oh man! I wish we had crystal light in south africa. I used to drink that ten years ago when i was living in new york for a while. I totally fell in love with it and lived off it! (And NY Bagels and cream cheese, darn it) I still have a strange faint pain in my right upper abdomen. Feels like somewhere where my liver is situated abouts. It was constant a few days ago and a sharp pain when i draw a breath. Now it is less painful (or have i gotten used to it?), but i still feel it when i draw a breath or sneeze. At some stage i was wondering if it couldn't be a stomach muscle that i pulled perhaps? I emailed my doctor, but he is very by the book, and informed me to have bloodtests done and do an abdominal scan. I don't know what to do. You see, we are really struggling financially and already in so much debt. My insurance also wont pay anything anymore so i would have to pay that cash and that is not something i can afford now. If it is really needed and important i would of course get it, because one shouldn't play with one's health obviously. But i cant help to wonder if this isn't a bit too much. I mean it is not horrible pain and just a muscle. And perhaps my Doc is one of those Docs that is quick to send for whatever tests and things. I don't know what to do. It makes it difficult to decide because the pain isn't horrible, so should i fork out all this cash that i don't actually really have you know. What would you have done? When i had my scans pre-surgery it showed that i had no gallstones. Only a fatty liver. What are your thoughts? I really need advice please, i am laying awake about this. (Oh and it is currently very cold in cape town and we are experiencing quite a heavy rainstorm!)
