hockeymumzie 181 Posted April 18, 2013 Hi all! I just discovered this forum. I had my surgery on 4/2/13 (revision to RNY from a 2003 lap band)' date=' and am so happy with how things have been going. I'm on day 3 of soft solids (FINALLY!!!!), and am trying to find a balance between eating enough and finding where full is. It'll take a while; I've been mostly erring on the not-quite-full side for fear of stretching my pouch. About the only big problem I've been having is with sleep. I wake up with pretty bad hip pain of all things (which I never had before, ever), which my docs have attributed to the time I spent on the operating room table. One of my docs had me re-start pain meds just one dose at night, last night, and that helped a LOT, though my sleep cycle remains disrupted. Nothing I can't handle in the grand scheme of things. I'm so excited about this process, and am looking forward to having people to share my journey with. Thanks for being there! 6GP2008 1 Posted April 18, 2013 So I'm one week post op and I really haven't had a bowel movement. I sat on the toilet on Monday but nothing really (sorry for the TMI). So my question is has anyone else had this issue. I figured that I didn't really have to go because I've been only drinking liquids....

As long as you're not feeling like you have to go and can't my doc says its normal. Your body is adjusting to different levels of intake and such. My nut also suggested Fiber like Metamucil to help things, ahem, move along. Mine have been completely irregular since surgery.
