knorway 1 Posted April 17, 2013 Do you feel nausea all the time? You can get a prescription for nausea from your doctor. Have you tried the ready mixed Isopure from GNC? it is clear Protein Drink more like Koolaid than a milkshake. Maybe they would work better for you. I like the Blue Raspberry best. I am not having nausea, though I have phenergan if I need it. Blue raspberry hmmm. Does it come in a can?
Wendilou 180 Posted April 17, 2013 It comes in a glass bottle. Make sure you get the zero carb one, and I would try it before you buy a bunch. It does have a weird aftertaste that some people can't tolerate.

juliz1972 51 Posted April 17, 2013 I actually wasn't the one that said you lack communication skills. I simply noted that your comment felt judgmental' date=' read your response, and moved on to more productive conversations. If you are uncomfortable in this thread I understand, but it seems like everyone else has moved on. I am above name calling, and have not done so anywhere on this forum. Feel free to take your advice, read comments more carefully, and think before you type. Something like that...is better, but you still get that sort of filmy Protein thing in the back of your throat. I have to say it went down easier than the creamy shakes one day, though! I hope you contribute to this thread, it's for all April surgery dates. Btw, I took your comments as Judgemental as the others, but it's the internets. We're all willing to move forward. nnaddour 73 Posted April 17, 2013 Okay' date=' is anyone else sore? I'm super sore right at my belly button. I'm worried I've got a hernia or something there. Also, how many had their surgeon send home a binder or have bought a binder? Did it help at all? I think one would. If you do have a binder, what brand? If you bought one, where?[/quote'] I have a question I'm a couple pages behind so someone may have asked this already but what's a binder?
nnaddour 73 Posted April 17, 2013 I had my surgery on April 11 and I am having a hard time. I feel overwhelmed and the thought of any flavor of Protein makes me sick. Any thoughts? I got the unflavored protein. Chick broth and cheese sauce from Unjury and so far they are great. Not sure if I will like them after surgery but hopefully I will. You can get there welcome kit for $21 I think which has a decent selection to try.
