missmegan 37 Posted April 3, 2013 Last night went well. Woke up with some gas pains in my chest and back, but sitting up and walking around a bit helped. I'm not needing every dose of the pain meds. The doc just stopped by and said he's starting the discharge paperwork! Yay!!! Just remember everyone, keep up with your walks and your liquids (sip sip sip!) and you're golden HW 296 - SW 266.3 1 pebulz reacted to this

Jeannette welsh 18 Posted April 6, 2013 Day 1 at home went okay... So much more comfortable in my bed! I slept like I was in a coma... I drank 1 Isopure and 1 -8 Oz Protein Shake made with skim milk to met over 80 Protein. For some reason, I craved skim milk to drink and was able to drink another 8 ozs.. Sipped Water all day. So far so good, and lost 10 lbs since my hospital stay. I'm feeling do much better 3 TxDumplin, pebulz and Wendilou reacted to this

hockeymumzie 181 Posted April 6, 2013 I heard Isopure is good I do not care for isopure grape frost juice. I will try it after surgery but it has a nasty Protein aftertaste. Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using RNYTalk

Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using RNYTalk Yes the grape was hard tasting. I liked the apple melon. They are a bit expensive, but not as heavy as a shake when you have to get in your Protein. Anyone know of anything comparable?

I really love my fuzzy navel Syntrax; hopefully that doesn't change after surgery. Even if they gross you out try to drink it anyway. Maybe you can Water it down?
