kristy3k 1,133 Posted March 29, 2013 No I found myself telling a complete stranger at Water aerobics!!! I was appaled at myself afterwards!! It was like why the hell dud I just tell a complete stranger that!! So weird. I know what you mean. Everytime I say something to a complete stranger... I think to myself ... what the hell. The lady at SAMS was handing out samples and instead of saying no thank you ... I said... I have had gastric bypass and I really cant... wth... like she cares!!! SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted March 29, 2013 We ran through Wendy's the other night to pick up dinner after soccer practice. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and baked potato (was going to take the bun off), got around to the window and the told me they were out of baked potatoes, I could have salad or fries. I'm 6 weeks post-op, I can't have salad for 2 more weeks and I'm just not gonna have fries. Rather then say cancel my order I went in to a big gastric bypass speech.....I am such an idiot HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 225.8 1 kristy3k reacted to this
Crkrjax76 76 Posted March 29, 2013 I know my kids are tired of hearing me talk about it but I'm trying to get all the info I can so that I am as prepared for the life changes I am making. What they do not realize fully is that they are making the changes also!!!! So I am not just wanting this surgery for myself to become healthier but all of us. Does that make sense, or am I just pushing this onto the kids unnecessarily? No, my family is also going to make the change with me!!
Dawnolson 85 Posted March 29, 2013 I agree it's a life change and I think we are excited and ready to do this. My husband will have to make changes as well and he's totally cool with it. Never says honey can we talk about something else! Lol I'm going to try to tone it down but no promises!! Lol
