jerz 251 Posted March 28, 2013 Don't freak out. It happens. Even in the beginning, I would stall for 3 or 4 days, then wake up 4 pounds lighter the 5th day. It's normal and don't worry. The weight will come off. SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:

jessiegirl22 91 Posted March 28, 2013 I am almost 4 months out from surgery and have only lost 10lbs in the 3rd month. 65lbs in total. Is it normal to slow down or is there something I can do to get back on track?
gaflalo 0 Posted March 28, 2013 Don't worry, I've been at a stall for two weeks and I'm only three weeks post op. On the up side, I've lost another whole size in my clothes so at least I know something's happening!!
kristy3k 1,133 Posted March 28, 2013 Dont look at it as a stall. Its your body adjusting to all the crap being thrown its way... or not thrown its way. Protein is key and so is excercise. Keep following the plan and the weight will come off when it is ready to. Fat seems to have a clock all of its own. Hang in there... patience is key
celebrate*me 52 Posted March 28, 2013 I just got off a 15 day stall. I wasn't getting all of my Water and only about 45 grams of Protein. My nut told me to shoot for 80-90 grams of protein daily I have been doing this (with protein shakes) for two days now and I have lost weight for the last two days. I was sooooo discouraged because I got stuck at 3 weeks post op and i haven't cheated once. I am now 5 weeks. Sooooo increase ur protein and get all ur water in...no matter how difficult it is and then check ur weight again.

I was where you were 2 weeks ago and everyone is right. Follow the plan and it will happen. I set the alarm on my phone to remind me to eat-drink-exercise-and take my Vitamins. It really helps. And I use My fitnessPal Ap on my phone to log everything... I'm very visual and it easy for me to not eat because I'm just not hungry. Keep positive and don't stress. 1 nursemissy reacted to this
LilBoo007 491 Posted April 2, 2013 It has officially been 1 week with no weight loss at all ... I am beyond frustrated !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm starting to feel like that's all the weight I am going to loose. I'm still doing everything by the book and getting at least 35 oz of Water a day and 3 Protein Shakes and all I can seem to eat atrial times is about 1 1/2 oz. of meat!!! I'm walking briskly on the tread mill 5x a week for about 20-30 min. What am I doing wrong that my weight has been stalled for a week, how long is this stall going to last?? I'm not even 3 weeks post op !!!
shyanne 198 Posted April 2, 2013 Whew! Breath :-D your doing great :-) keep following your plan and step away from the scale :-) it can drive you NUTTS. I actually ended up taking mine to my moms who doesn't live to far. Some times you will loose inches or clothing sizes before pounds. Good luck :-) 1 nairali reacted to this

I'm not even 3 weeks post op !!! I feel like I'm reading a post from myself three weeks ago. I did the same thing. Don't stress the scale will move. Your body needs to adjust to the rapid weight loss. I didn't loose any weight for 9 days and then last week I lost 8 lbs. Doing the same thing I was the week before. Be patient it will happen. Now I haven't loss any thing yet this week. I measured myself pre surgery and now on the weeks I don't loose I measure. It realy helps when you see your loosing inches too. So far I have lost 23 inches overall. Keep your wheels on ... Your on your way!!!!
