starlight06 20 Posted March 21, 2013 Is there anyone who have try to have a baby before having the gastric bypass and was not able then after the bypass and had a baby very easy! Please let me know me and my husband have try for 6 year with no luck and I relly would like to have a baby and I would like to know if it may happen and has this happen to someone else!!! jerz 251 Posted March 22, 2013 Yup. I'm 7 weeks post op and 6 weeks pregnant. I was taking the pill but obviously it didnt work and my surgeon never told me that I'd become super fertile do quickly after surgery. Honestly after trying for almost 13 years, I didn't think I could have anymore kids (I hv a 14 yr old) but if I knew this could happen, I would've been more cautious and waited because it's kinda hard so early after the surgery.
