Anniesmom12 181 Posted March 13, 2013 I cant bring myself to eat pizza! I guess because I consider that a "trigger" food.... i dont want to get back in to my old habits. But it seems the dough wouldnt sit well with the pouch, not sure. Anxious to see responses here.

judyinmn 16 Posted March 13, 2013 I have tried the Medit. Chix. Delite from Papa Murphy's. I tried to eat a slice (1/10 of it) and could barely get it all down. The crust really filled me up. Otherwise, I have not ventured to try any other kind. I am 5 months out. Sorry...
Ms. Mandy 14 Posted March 13, 2013 So far I have only ate the toppings no crust but not sure if that's on a lists of approved foods ... It doesn't settle to well either. So I know probably should not eat it ( even just the toppings) that's why I was wondering if anyone could tolerate it and the opinions if we should eat it or not. I don't want this surgery not to successful
worm2872 635 Posted March 13, 2013 To fix my cravings, I do what Don does. I bake a pita until crispy and add some sauce with cheese and turkey pepporoni that I crisp in the microwave. I love it. I don't think a small slice later on would hurt but I would only do something with a thin and crispy crust. Also, personally I would not do pepporoni out. I can eat sugar (Boooo!!!) but grease KILLS ME.
MalyssaSue 65 Posted March 13, 2013 Kashi makes a really good pizza. 15 grams of Protein per slice. I can only have 1 small slice but it hit the spot.

Lisa Collom 184 Posted March 13, 2013 How do you make this or where can you buy this ? living4myself_gb1-21-13: I make mine with 2 cups of cooked shredded cauliflower that has all the Water squeezed out of it. Mix with 2 cups of low fat cheddar cheese, 2 eggs, salt, pepper and oregano. Pat out into a very thin layer on a sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes until set. Let sit for another 10 before topping the pizza and sticking it under the broiler to melt the cheese. Just make sure your toppings are precooked.

Lisa Collom 184 Posted March 13, 2013 I but it frozen then boil it. Then I pulse it in my food processor and squeeze the Water out in a clean kitchen towel. It turns a little pulpy.
