Katie 16 Posted March 8, 2013 My main downfall has been the snacking. It's not always unhealthy, most times it's fruits and cheese but just grazing all day has added up the pounds. I've been watching it more recently, and when I get that urge I get a bottle of Water but I'm not sure it's helping. I still feel the need to put something in my mouth. Cyster 5 Posted March 8, 2013 I have a similar problem so I started snaking on nuts, cheese and whole wheat crackers. I try not to drink my calories so I opt for Decaf coffee with surgar free Creamer and splenda, Diet Cranberry juice and just Water. This has helped me thru my craving (not really Hungry) moments. Hope this helps
SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted March 8, 2013 I'm a grazer too...not so bad right now since I'm just a few weeks post op but after I got my lap band I would keep small bags or bowls of healthy (mostly) Snacks in appropriate quantities to eat throughout the day...when my bags were gone I had to quit....if I have the amount set out ahead of time and not just a kitchen full of stuff of a bag full of stuff I do much better. bakawaka 108 Posted March 9, 2013 I use Atkins Protein Bars for Snacks. They are high Protein, low calorie and low fat. The sugar alcohols in them do cause flatulence, however. 1 nienie reacted to this

nienie 113 Posted March 10, 2013 Try snacking on something higher in Protein. String cheese, meat and cheese rolled up. Usually satisfies you and keeps you full
melb1976 12 Posted March 10, 2013 I just started drinking tea, which has helped me. I went to Teavana and bought their chai tea. I add Splenda to it. It's so yummy. I look forward to it every afternoon.
