  1. 1. When did your toughest weight loss plateau occur?

    • Within the first two months after surgery - pretty discouraging to go through the surgery and not be losing weight!

    • Two to six months after surgery - sticking to the diet, but haven't yet hit your stride

    • Six to 12 months after surgery - I was doing fine at first, but

    • More than one year after surgery - those last several pounds are the toughest!

I have had a few plateaus so far, but I have been hovering around at 90 pounds lost for the last few weeks. I am just over the 6th month mark now. I had my check up at the doctor's office and I decided I wanted to up the intensity of my exercises, add strength training and start planning low carb meals. I realize that to get to where I want which is still 110 pounds away, I'm going to have to work even harder now and really be disciplined to be successful long term. I will be successful!

I am a little over 5 months out and have not really had a tough plateau yet. The longest was 4 days. They all stink though. Praying to not have one that lasts weeks until I.am at my goal

Thank you Rongee2099! This plateau is frustrating, but I know it's part of the process and it will not last forever! :) I will not give up!
