Hello everyone,

I am 2 weeks post op and I'm having so much problems with staying hydrated. I feel like I have Peanut Butter in my mouth all the time. I have tried crystal lite and almost every other drink and I hate the taste of everything even Water. I have been up since 6:30 drinking water for the past 3 days but its not helping at all. Any suggestions?

I am trying so hard. I have a horrible taste in my mouth also and it makes me nauseous I have to brush just about every hour.

I am 30lbs lighter but sometimes I wish I didn't get this surgery because I can really use a nice tall glass of ice Water or maybe 2 or 3. And a PEPSI !!!!!! Lol ugh it gets greater later ????

Give it time - this will pass. You will be able to drink Water again. It took me about 4 months to get rid of the cotton mouth.
