I just did mine at 10 weeks post op. Do it now before it starts falling out! I didn't think there was a waiting period.

DOS 12/17/12 :)

I was never told that I couldn't. I did mine at about 6-8 weeks. I had colored mine right before surgery.

You can certainly dye it at any time, however it may not take quite as well as it normally would because of the hormonal changes in the body.

I dyed mine right before surgery it didn't cover as well as it usually did so I think it just depends on your body

I am 14 weeks post op and have dyed my hair twice. No problems here. But I only wash my hair and blow dry it 2x a week because of the Hair loss. My stylest recommend getting ot professionall washed 2x a month at least bercause the vigorous washing stimulated the scalp and new Hair growth. Dr said absolutley correct. So I treat myself! I am lucky that my hair is not oily.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
