Hello. I am in North Florida, so we are neighbors! Are you scheduled for surgery?

Hi Band Mom, I had my surgery on the 26th Of Feb everyday is a better day I must say. How about you when are you having yours done?

I don't have a date yet. I am hoping for a mid to late July date but I still have 5 more appoints with my PCP, sleep study, colonoscopy, egd, psych eval, and mammogram left to do. Whew!

Didn't have to go through all of that due to the fact I had to pay for it myself all worth it.

The Main reason I did this is because my mother passed away of diabetes

Yikes! I don't doubt that it's worth it, but I am going to get insurance to help out. I have 2 kids in college and I am in grad school, so I have plenty of money going out the door. gonna save what I can!

My dad just died on Christmas Eve...only 63. It made me realize that I want to be around for my own kids a lot longer...
