snow25 188 Posted March 5, 2013 I'm going to be spending a week backpacking the AT in early summer with friends. We have started to plan food and menus. It is really going to be hard to pack a lot of Protein. Any suggestions for Proteins that are lite weight. I don't wont to load down my pack with food. I've still got to carry tent, 2 sleeping bags, clothes for 2, etc. (My 5 year old son is hiking with me.) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
