How long does liquid stay in yoir pouch?

How long should i take to drink an 8 oz Protein Shake? Should I feel full after eating a couple of oz? Don't want to damage anything. And when I drink broth I can drink it all so I am confused on how long the liquid stays. Thanks in adcance

crazycatlady8, thanks for posting this. I feel the same. I'm only doing liquids, but they don't seem to feel me up. I'm not really hungry but thought when I sipped on a can of cream of celery Soup (with scoop of Protein powder) that I should feel "okay, enough .... but I don't". I can consume the whole can - although I do it slowly.

Is that normal?

I think it depends on a few factors. How soon after surgery. Is your stomach empty...etc. I had a swallow test and watched it literally go in and go out. Stomach was empty. I hadn't eaten in over 24 hours. but it didnt stay in. Past right into the intestines.
