I've not had surgery yet either! But I'm gonna start trying different Protein Shakes and stuff to see what I can tolerate. I went to Walmart today and bought some Adkins strawberry shakes and Advant ones. I got a Body Fortress fruit punch Protein shot.. It has 26grams of protein only 2.9 oz. and I got 1 New Whey Liquid Protein (grape) shot. It has 42 g of protein in 3.8 oz.

I'm gonna start trying them tomorrow. Wish me luck with something I like. :)

My nutritionist advises using milk for the extra Protein. Regular fat free is fine unless you are lactose intolerant, then you can use lactose free/fat free milk. I have used the new EAS that has 26 grams of protein. I like the chocolate. Get it at Target. Also powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury (only available online) at Unjury.com. They have a flavourless that works well with Crystal Light and a chicken Soup that is delicious along with the usual choc, van & strwbry. You can also, for a change, mix (all but chicken soup) any of the above with coffee (docs prefer caffeine free). Just be sure to let the liquids that are hot, cool to recommended temps (140 or below) or it will make the Protein powder clump up. Good luck.
