BabyGotBack 0 Posted February 12, 2007 I am wanting to get one. I have all of my music on Windows Media Player and can't figure out how to get my music to the ITunes. Can anyone give me advice?? Thanks
bitteroldhag 0 Posted February 13, 2007 No. I put some music on my Dell and can't transfer it to my iPod. I have a Mac which I used to put some music on the iPod. I have 53 songs on my computer and about 10 on my iPod. I just buy the songs twice which isn't too bad since they are only about a dollar. I hope someone who is tech savvy answers this post. horns10 0 Posted February 14, 2007 When you purchase an Ipod you'll have to download ITunes in order to import any kind of songs onto your Ipod. If your songs are WMA (windows media) based then when you drag and drop your songs into Itunes it will alert you and convert the music files over for your ipod. It's not difficult at all to do, ITunes will do all the work for you.
Jachut 487 Posted February 14, 2007 You should be able to synchronise it to your device, that's how I do it - rip it of my CD's and onto Windows Media and then onto my MP3. Along the top bar there's a "sync" button, you press that, it instructs you to select tunes from whatever playlist and you have your ipod connected - you can click the little "edit playlist" tab to pull up a list and as you mouse click on songs, they are added to your sync list and then you just press the start sync button and it does it all for you. BabyGotBack 0 Posted February 14, 2007 I already have itunes but dont have the ipod yet. I tried to click and drag a song from windows media player and put it in the itunes library, but it didn't work. Do I need an Ipod first? Or is there a way to just transfer the songs from WMP to Itunes? I am not too computer savy so I need the Idiots version. Thanks!
rsbell 0 Posted February 14, 2007 You can also burn the songs to cds, then rip them in iTunes from the cds you just created.
