Able to eat more food 3 months post op

I am able to eat more food comfortably 3 months post op - it is a by scary. Of course, I cannot eat as much as I ate pre op, but I can eat much more now than 2 months post op. I can eat an entire steak 4-6 ounces) and some steamed vegetables but nothing else. Will the amount that I can eat continue to expand? Or will I always have restriction?
