jerz 251 Posted February 26, 2013 Went to the rheumatologist Friday and he noticed that my fingertips were blue and for the past 2 weeks I've noticed numbness in my arms, lower legs and feet. Idk if I should be concerned or not. So many new things happening that idk whether it's normal or not SD:1/28/13 HW:358 SW:338 CW:
LAtwx3 1 Posted February 26, 2013 I have had numbness start in my feet & legs. Traveled to my lower pelvic area, them my arms. I freaked out went to my surgeon a d found out it was due to lack of potassium. He gave me prescription potassium. It's been 4 weeks and my legs are still slightly tingly. Call your doc or nut. bigmike 64 Posted February 26, 2013 Any change in sensation, motor function will usually be related to vitamin/ mineral deficiency. Bottom line see your Dr. And take Vitamins for life. Once imbalance is found, may take up to 2 months to return to normal.
tzbandtobypass 48 Posted February 27, 2013 I had similar symptoms and it was a potassium deficiency. I was told to eat 1/3 of a banana per day and drink G2 mixed with Water throughout the day. I've been doing that for 4 weeks and feel much, much better. No more tingles in my fingers and nose!
