I get so frustrated because when I am feeling good I try to do more. For example, I went for a walk yesterday and I was feeling so good that I went twice as far as I had been going. I was so excited! Then, the minute I got back to my house I crashed. Felt like absolute poo. I barely had the energy to do anything. Now, 24 hours later I still feel gross. Lethargic, almost to the point of nausea. I ate some Breakfast, but I really have some things I want to do today, but it doesn't feel like it is going to happen. I feel really down about it and extremely worried about when it comes time to go back to work.

I'm also frustrated because I had made peace with Protein shakes before surgery and now, I can barely choke down 1/2 of one before I am so sick. Ugh...it's going to be one of those days. Lol

Thankfully, tomorrow is a new day.

The pounds are coming off quickly and I'm excited about it but I am also feeling low energy. I tire easily. I go out for walks and some days I'm okay but most others I am tired after walking just a few blocks. It's a bit frustrating. I am trying my best to keep up With all my Vitamins. My doctor said to walk and even start exercising a bit. With this energy level' date=' I can't even think about exercising yet. Anyone else have low energy?[/quote']

I know how you feel but I'm not going to let it stop me from working out cause I don't want saggy skin or a saggy booty. I want to bring sexy back.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
