My very favorite is the Fuzzy navel. I have been drinking this for years. I was banded eight years ago drank it then, and now revised in Dec to RNY and drank pre op and post op. It is really great to do something without milk. I love it. At the Vitamin Shoppe you can get single serve size so you can try some different flavors before you commit to the big barrel (just kidding but they do seem huge) also BJ Baratirics have single serve available on line and they have great service very quick and inepensived shipping. I love them.

Fuzzy navel is my favorite, followed by double stuffed cookie and Roadside Lemonade. The cookie one I mix with 1/2 milk 1/2 Water or add the mix straight to pudding or Greek yogurt, mixed with mild and blenderize with ice cubes it is much like Cookies n cream ice cream. I have fuzzy navel almost daily at work, pour over crushed ice and sip all day. I did NOT like the lemon tea....the color and texture just totally grossed me out, I couldn't finish the bottle :/. Roadside eom add I add crystal light lemonade and extra Water, helps mask the proteiny taste a bit.

Good luck, hope you like em!! Been a lifesaver for me!!!!

I really like that Syntrax Nectar is not thick. The Protein seems to dissolve completely in Water. I use a whisk or fork to really stir it well. The flavors I liked best were green apple ecstasy and Twisted cherry. I've yet to try the peach, but lots of people seem to love that one.

I got my nectar yesterday and it is not that bad. I tried fuzzy naval and it didn't make me nauseous like the milky tasting ones do. I am going to try kiwi strawberry today.. Still love Unjury chicken broth-my absolute favorite..

Kiwi strawberry nectar- also good. I have found that I put more the the 4 oz of Water they suggest starting with. I put between 8-12..I bet some crystal light mixed in would make an awesome drink...

I tried fuzzy navel and apple ecstacy. I didn't like either of them! I felt like they needed some sort of sourness to them. Also, the smell really bugged me. lol

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
