Hey guys im 6 mos out and have always gotten whoozy if i get up to fast but it only last a second ..last night i git up after watching a movie and was fine went to the cabinet to grab a snack counted out my little serving of reduced fat cheezits (not the whole box like before) put the box back and felt really bad and passed out cold on the floor injuring my tailbone on the way down knocking the kitchen table back a couple feet and knocking all the chairs over with one landing on me so my wife says when she ran into the kitchen and helped me up sat in the chair and passed out again so twice within minutes she called 911 they came checked my vitals but i refused to go with them.I will contact my doctor on monday but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this after wls...My sugar and vitals where fine when checked later about 3 am i was still laying in bed i felt like passing out again and had a horrible pain in my chest where my pouch would be " I did not eat the cheezits " after all that i was no longer looking for a snack of any kind ....thanks for any input Don

That's me :) I broke my foot, and sprained both knees and my back. I have to go talk to my doctor about getting on meds to steady my blood pressure and I'm working on drinking a lot more. Be sure to get checked out. I could have drowned passing out the second time in the shower.

Why did you refuse to go with them crazy!! Its always best to let them take you in if that's what they think should happen. that way you get your answers asap and can work on fixing it.

Scary experience. It could be many things but I definitely think you should get it checked out. Often we can have orthostatic hypotension which just means if we get up to fast are blood pressure decreases and we don't get enough blood flow to your brain and you pass out. Usually for this we first make sure it is not medications ie bp med effecting it and then we tell people to get up slowly-if lying go to sitting position for a minute or so and then from sitting to standing go slow and wait a minute. Dehydration could also be an issue and sometimes they never find out what makes us faint. Glad to hear you are making an appointment as you can get seriously hurt when fainting and falling and or it could be something more serious that needs attention. Good Luck

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
