Lou:) 110 Posted April 9, 2013 Ok. So I had my surgery yesterday. Lap band removal to rny. Surgery was supposed to take an hour and a half but took four. When I you the lap band they fixed a hiatal hernia. My doc says my last surgeon did not fix it the right way so he had to redo it. Also I had a lot of scar tissue even though I only had the band for two years. I had sx at 7:30am, but did not make it into a room until 6:30 am because there were none available. My husband stayed with me he whole time and stayed the night. My parents had to leave before I got in a room and will be coming back to visit today. I was told I will likely be going home tomorrow. I cannot have anything to drink until I have my upper gi later this morning. Do far so good and not hungry at all! 1 hockeymumzie reacted to this
