Yes u ar definetly doing the right thing. What ur feeling now is completely normal and just think of how much happier you will be when its all done and over with and the weight starts falling off. And think of how healthy you will be. Its a tough and long journey to get here but u did it, u made it! Be proud :-) lots of love and support from everyone here!

Thanks...my daughter called and made me feel so much better..she helped me focus on why I went down this path... I need to get healthy and I need to be positive. I'm glad she called... Not sure if I'll ever sleep tonight...

Aww im 2 weeks away still and already cant sleep thanks to now having GERD since my egd last week so i'll chat with u on here lol

I guess the last couple weeks with this band its making sure i HATE this band! Had my preop egd last thursday and have had a horrific cough and havent been able to sleep went to the ER yesterday and they said i have GERD gave me pepcid and told me to sleep elevated and take malox ...well it helped a little but still wake up every 2 hrs coughing so bad im gagging so i went to my lapband dr this am and they took out some Fluid and sent me for a CT scan so now im sitting at the hospital waiting ....and still coughing and gagging WTF is wrong with me UGGGHHHHHH so frustrated!

Did you find out anything??
