It got so bad i went to the er and they said i have gird which was made worse by the egd ....crazy but hope thats it and i can finally sleep

All my samplea have arrived via mail looking at the chewable they look like starburst lol. Getting closer and closer ao cant wait. Hope everybodys surgery went good today

I don't have to do a liquid diet but decided to since I did one for my lap band. I am doing a week long liquid diet. I am halfway through day one and I feel like I am starving to death... hopefully it won't be so bad after surgery but I am also doing this to prove my commitment to myself. This sucks. ..

I also haven't been put on any type of liquid diet or anything as of yet i go for my preop appt on 4/9 and was thinking maybe then he would....i was gonna start today and go back to doing 2 shakes and small meal and cut the carbs back out because i heard its good to lose some weight before because it will shrink your liver which is good for surgery.....did your dr say anything about shrinking your liver? Unfortunately because of being so sick the ER dr told me to eat toast and milk today so i haven't started my shakes yet

I had to meet a weight loss goal before being approved for surgery...and that was supposed to be to shrink the liver. Beyond that I have to do liquid diet starting 2 days before surgery (clear liquids on the second day)

I have not been given any instructions on an intestinal/colon cleanse of any kind. Not sure if I should do that..if so I'll have to reconsider working the day before. Lol.

Yeah I'm on a 2 week liver shrink diet. It's basically shakes for Breakfast and lunch, then lean Protein and veggies for dinner. Less than 30 carbs a day, less than 10 fat grams a day and no more than 900 calories.

he said if my bmi was higher I would have to do the liver shrink diet

And i'm still the only one on the 3rd.... What a roller coaster of emotions!
