Not sure if the pain is hunger? surgical? nausea?

I'm day 4 post surgery and I have no idea what this pain is that I'm feeling. It comes and goes throughout the day, and goes away after I take painkillers (which makes me think it's surgical pain), but it feels an awful lot like my stomach is gurgling/hungry. But when I take any fluids it also hurts, so I wonder if it's nausea. I'm so confused!

What sort of pain/discomfort did you have during your first week? Did anything help?

It is a combination if things. Your pouch is angry. Try room temp fluids as the cold hurt me at first. I would get a bad ache if I was hungry. The emptiness hurt.

I will try that. I keep forgetting how very recently I had surgery and what my poor tummy must be going through.
