My hair is thinning so much I could cry...has anyone heard of taking prenatal Vitamins to prevent it or help it from falling...pregnant women always have beautiful thick hair ...wondering if it has yo do with the Vitamins? ??

No it's not the prenatals. I'm pregnant and it's just the hormones from the baby. My hair has grown so much. My nails too.

While sitting in the doctor's office, waiting to visit with the dietitian, there was a magazine that I was looking through and it had an article regarding Hair loss, three of the major issues that cause hair loss is #1. Not enough Protein, #2 stress and #3 heredity. Bypass surgery definitely causes two of them, not enough protein and the stress of the surgery plus all the worry it puts you through.
