kat77 63 Posted January 31, 2013 Well, I go to my pre-op surgery appt. tomorrow at one pm. I hope everything goes well. Then Friday is my preregistration for the hospital. My parents will be coming down on Tuesday so they can get my kids to school the morning of my surgery then they will drive down the pass and be there for the surgery. so on Wednesday the sixth hubby will drive me too the hospital, about 45 min away. My parents are going to stay at my house while i am in the hospital, and hubby will stay with me and sleep at his moms down in San Bernardino. I wish it was tomorrow. I am scared and want to be on the other side. I just want to wake up and after that, I will not be scared.....it is the anesthesia that frightens me. I have been under for 4 other operations, but each time I have been terrified that I won't wake up. I am also afraid to fail...I don't want to disappoint my family. If you pray, please pray for me. I love the Lord and trust Him, I just don't have very much confidence in me. My surgeon's plan is so strict, I want to follow it and be successful.....I'm just so afraid it won't work ..... Sorry for the whining, I'm just so nervous....thanks for listening Kat 1 agirlofaith reacted to this

ranee17 18 Posted January 31, 2013 I felt the same way going in to my surgery. i just remember telling myself i'd rather at least go in and try then not have my surgery and live in this hell forever!! I'm only 8wks out and believe me as scared as I was being wheeled back for surgery-it was also the most exciting time in my life besides being wheeled back to have my daughter. i knew from that moment on my life would be completely different and NOTHING in the world made me happier at that moment. Just keep good thoughts and constantly remind yourself why this surgery is SO important and God will see you through it all. prayers for you always..Your going to do WONDERFUL 2 JackieBNates1503 and khailey1230 reacted to this

kat77 63 Posted February 1, 2013 I don't know, I'm just going to pray. That helps me. Also like everyone says...focus on why you are doing this. Decide What is the most important thing to you, then keep your mind on that. God bless you on surgery day!
