metherer 5 Posted January 29, 2013 Hello all. Thought I'd come and join you. I was approved for NHS funding in December, and have my first Consultant appointment in Thursday. I'm having my surgery at Spire hospital in Leeds, West Yorkshire. All being well I am likely to have my surgery in February or early March, hoping to get my date Thurs. Excited/scared/bricking it really. Can't wait to start my new life though. Metherer.

brandnewme 20 Posted February 1, 2013 Hello, I'm originally from London now living in Birmingham. Still registered at my Doctors in London and having my operation next Friday. Currently going through all the waves of emotions and trying to shift a stone before the surgery on the pre-op diet. I know in the long term it's the best choice for me and I've never been more ready for this journey.....
