kauaigirl808 39 Posted January 26, 2013 RNY 11/13/2012 Hey guys, so here's the thing, I want to continue to encourage all of you to share your stories but not just on here but in your every day lives. When i was going through the process i didn't know anyone who had done the procedure and it was kind of lonely... i didnt know about this forum and i was just doing it by myself or so it felt... Since having my surgery i have been very open with people about it... what i have found is a lot of people who are interested but scared and unsure about where to go what to do, etc... so it got me thinking of if we could be a support for someone in our everyday lives then we should.... Just a thought 2 Vicki Loichinger and kisersassy reacted to this
worm2872 635 Posted January 27, 2013 I am no expert but I try to be on here everyday and look for folks to reach out to. I agree, this board helped me so much I want to give back.

kristy3k 1,133 Posted January 27, 2013 I was just telling my family the other day that when I go for my year checkup next month Im gonna ask my dr if he wants me to speak at his next seminar. I feel like I just want to tell everyone about my experience and help others who have struggled like I have.
