Janel 46 Posted February 25, 2013 I am doing good the past two days really haven't felt like eating Breakfast or lunch. I have drank my energy drinks (Zipfizz). It gives me all of my Vitamins t that I would get from eating. I guess its my preparation for the liquid diet that is quickly approaching. mayo doctor said the zipfizz will still be a very good drink to have every day just because of it's Vitamin content after surgery. Just wish Wal-Mart had more flavors.
sb5366 15 Posted February 25, 2013 I love that site, I think I've read it 5 times already. I also am setting reminders for my phone. I have my husband's phone linked to my business calendar as well so he gets all the reminders too. Never hurts to have a backup. Oh and you just know my 29 year old daughter is eating it up that she gets to tell me what and when and how to eat and exercise. Pray for me that it doesn't all go to her head. The 6 year old is more compassionate towards mom mom. I am so glad! LOL I bet your 29 year old is having fun.

ElleG 394 Posted February 25, 2013 3 more days til March 1st!!!! Countdown to a new life!! My tentative date is the end of March so the butterflies have not started flapping in my stomach yet, but I'm sleeping as much as I can before that happens I’m praying for us all to have successful surgeries, speedy recoveries and available funds on our credit cards to shop until we drop!!! 4 Blaq_Butterfly, MarinaCC, 2bhealthy and 1 other reacted to this
bolilian 3 Posted February 25, 2013 What exactly is the deal with no coffee? Is it just that it can cause ulcers?
jen2013 14 Posted February 25, 2013 What exactly is the deal with no coffee? Is it just that it can cause ulcers? The info I was given is that it is a diuretic and we need to get and keep so much more Fluid in, ESP newly post op.
ECUJenn 116 Posted February 25, 2013 What exactly is the deal with no coffee? Is it just that it can cause ulcers? Do you mean before or after surgery? Caffeine is a stimulant which is why they don't want it in your bloodstream before surgery. It can slow down healing.
LilBoo007 491 Posted February 25, 2013 My Nut said we can have coffee after surgery as long as it is Decaf. I also asked about Creamer and sugar and she said we can have creamer as long as it is non-diary AND sugar free as well as sugar substitute for the sugar. So I should be ok! Only thing, maybe I'm dumb but I can't seem to find a creamer that u refrigerate that says non dairy on non lactose... Is that the same??? Is International Delight sugar free French vanilla non-dairy???
