erin0929 3 Posted January 24, 2013 I'm having surgery on feb 4 and I am curious how long everyone waited before returning back to the gym?
Rem 87 Posted January 24, 2013 I was wondering this too. I know everyone's recovery is different but hearing from you guys would be great!
lovealways 287 Posted January 24, 2013 My surgeon told me exercise resumes after 4 weeks from surgery. That sounds about right. You will need 2 weeks to heal fully
erin0929 3 Posted January 24, 2013 Were you allowed to walk on the treadmill before 4 weeks?
lovealways 287 Posted January 24, 2013 Just walking in general...no treadmill for me, but every surgeon is different

I am hoping to build up to do my first 5k this spring. 1 rockin jessie reacted to this

jekkajo 26 Posted February 7, 2013 I have always wanted to try Zumba but I am too afraid that the very sight of it will cause animals and small children to seek immediate shelter. LOL Hilarious!!!! I feel the same way.... Ahhhhh!!! I had some issues with my staples and haven't been able to get out & walk like I've wanted too .... Stumblelina 1 Posted March 5, 2013 I think alot of it has to do with how well your healing and what you were able to do beforehand.. One of my main issues is pain, Back spasms, knees giving out.. I am assuming it will probably be a lil longer for me.. for anything more than basic walking.. I would like to learn to Zumba myself plus we have some dance games for WII AND Xbox 360 I would like to be able to do them without hurting myself..lol
