karioke2012 1 Posted January 23, 2013 I am a single mom of a 9 year old. Over the last couple weeks I have cooked and froze meals for her. Then all I have to do is zap them in the microwave. I am going to freeze more meals for her to eat for after my surgery. This way I don't feel she is neglected but I don't have to stand and fix meals I am not going to be eating. SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted January 23, 2013 Post op(the first time) I actually found I enjoyed the ritual of cooking for my son (he was 5 at that time). Now, I did make him tacos my first week post-op when I was on liquids and that almost killed me I was starving so bad but once I was off liquids cooking was fine again. sleevemeup 41 Posted January 24, 2013 We have the same date! I don't have to start my liquids until Jan 31st. I am easing my way into it, I am doing 2 shakes, a small meal and 2 greek yogurts. I haven't had a problem so far. Best of luck on Valentine's Day!
