Not a ton of protein but I figure I can maybe smear a few with peanut butter or something
mskami77 295 Posted September 22, 2013 Anyone have a good chicken chili recipe? I've been craving it. I make mine with white Beans and cut up chicken breast. I use fresh beans not canned but you can do either. Canned won't need to cook as long. I cut up a half of each- red, orange and green bell pepper and onion and 2 celery stalks. Saute the veggies in tbsp of olive oil. Add chili powder, basil, garlic powder and lemon pepper to your liking then add your chicken breast (2-3) cook chicken. Add a can of diced tomatoes with chillies. And 3 cups of low sodium chicken broth. Add your beans, bring to boil then cook on a low heat for about 2 1/2 hours. If you use canned beans it should take about an hour. It works in a crock pot too. I cook for 6 so you can modify it to fit your family.

Jeepchick42 193 Posted September 22, 2013 It's not quite the same but try cottage cheese w/blueberries and a turkey sausage. Unfortunately I'm not a big cottage cheese fan. It's a texture issue. I think I'm going to try the Protein pancakes this week sometime. I gotta go to the store and pick up the ingredients.

Tomorrow I think I'll try the cauliflower Pizza Crust w/diced tomatoes, feta cheese and turkey pepperoni.
