Pot roast. I put it in the food processor, added some Water, and chopped it up. It was very tasty. I ate a little but not as much as I hoped. It went down okay, though. Two and a half hours later I felt terrible and it came back up! :-p

It's not like when food gets stuck or you eat too fast. I felt fine for over two hours. Then all of a sudden I'm feeling uncomfortable, gurgling and getting nauseous. Does anyone know what causes this so long after eating? I'm mystified. I'd like to avoid it in the future...

I do the same thing and I love the Healthy Choice frozen Greek Yogurts. You are right the portion size is perfect and they taste great!!

I've been buying the Healthy Choice frozen Greek yogurt. It's in single serve bowls, 3/package. I like the Portion Control. I can't sit and eat a pint like I've been known to do pre op.

I had a bowl of pumpkin Soup at the cafe where I meet some friends for coffee, it comes with a side of either cheese bread or garlic toast. I took the garlic toast. I dipped it in the soup and gingerly took a bite. This was the first bread I've eaten and kept down in nine years!!!!! Don't know that I want any More in a hurry, I just wanted to try it.

I had my 1st subway sandwich since surgery and it totally hit the spot. I got a 6" oven roasted chicken on Italian herb & cheese. I had them scoop out the insides of the bread, had cheese, a little spinach, onion & black olives, a little sweet onion sauce. I ate half, so 3", and it was perfect!

Lunch was a lunchables- just crackers with turkey and cheese. I couldn't even finish it..... I am still amazed at how little I eat. Pre-op I could have eaten 3 lunchables at one sitting and still been ready for more!

Isnt it an amazing feeling! That is one of the things I like best about this surgery! One egg (sometimes not even the whole thing) and im full! ;)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
